The name is a bait. Not actual Hardcore. They made up their own idea for hardcore that uses map, doesn't have NPCs in the towns and also does have a party system. Nothing about this resembles Rust Hardcore. Very confusing to make up your own idea for Hardcore when one is already known from facepunch.
